Job interview in hospital, i have covid....

Hi all

I have a job interview coming up, its only a small part time job that i was going to work alongside my current job, so not a desperately needed job.
I have tested positive for covid very recently, so i rang to inform them i wont be able to attend as i will still be positive. I offered to do the interview over phone/video, and they said they would ring me back.
They called me back an hour later to say they are happy to see me a day later instead, which would be 6 days after positive result rather than 5.
Is it just me or does this feel horribly wrong for me to attend a hospital of all places when i could very well still be positive?
I had another interview this week for a non hospital job and they happily did a video interview.

I know covid isnt going away and all that, but purposely going in a hospital so quickly feels wrong, I dont think I will be going.

Aibu?

Makes me feel they desperate to fill the job, no matter what

Or, they have a deadline to meet for submitting the approval for the position, they really like OP’s CV and their own guidelines about covid safety allow them to bring her in.

OP, if you are going to second guess the people who actually make decisions on these things based on the information they have, probably best you decide not to go work for them.

we're all done with covid.
I honestly can't believe this comment. Yes we may be done with it but it isn't done with is.
I'm not saying we should go back into lockdown but I just wish people would act responsibly. Covd still kills, l and ong COVID ruins lives.

What kind of hospital has a policy that allows visitors with highly contagious viruses to enter the building?

Answer: none, even pre-covid.

Surely the better option would be to err on the side of caution in a hospital and do my interview on phone/video (which is what the first woman said they could do!) I dont want it on my head that ive taken a virus we know can kill vulnerable people, purposely into a building where cancer and other life saving treatments are happening, some people may be comfortable with it but I am not. I gave them the offer to interview via video, I gave them a safe option, theyve chosen to ignore that and take an option that creates risk because for some reason i must be seen in the flesh. Doesn't sound very professional to me, so you're right, i dont think i do want to work for them.
