Has anyone had trouble using Veygo Learner Driver Insurance for their driving test?

The DVSA driving test rules for using your own car say it must "be insured for a driving test (check with your insurance company)." My daughter is insured to drive our car with a Veygo Learner Driver policy which explicitly states on the certificate (see attached) that it does not cover "use to participate in any test". However, their FAQs say that it does cover the driving test, and we have an email from a customer service rep confirming the same. Has anyone had their Veygo policy wording questioned by the examiner on the day? I'm hoping that my daughter won't have to argue the case by pointing to the FAQs etc. Driving tests are stressful enough as it is!

It does say that you can use it for a test when it falls under "permitted use" though. So it's fine.

Yes it’s fine, that section is referring to test days at race tracks, etc.

Two of my DC were insured with Veygo and did their tests in our car. It was absolutely fine, no issue at all and using our car was a definite plus.

If it is learner insurance, what happens when your DD passes, is she covered to drive back? I know when DS was insured as a learner on my car, the insurance needed to be updated as he was no longer a learner.

I know it doesn't cover the drive back. That bit is clear, and isn't a problem.

That’s good, hope she passes, then ready yourself for the insurance quotes, DS was17 when he passed, first attempt, the insurance wasn’t cheap.
