There is two leisure centres nearby me same company but different prices I'm looking for lessons for my three daughters.

One is closer (average 8min 1.9miles away drive traffic dependent) £37.50 a lesson £112.50 a month

Second one (average is 15min drive 5.3miles away again more if there's traffic) £26.87 a lesson so would be £80.12 a month

The more expensive one said to me they are pricier as they are better, have smaller classes and the quality is better and the other one said the price is different because of the part of the Borough it comes under. The first one I wouldn't be able to get them all in on the same day at least to begin with whereas the cheaper one I cam do all same day same time eldest is 9 so she can sort herself out while I sort out the twins who are 6. I just don't know what to do do I go to the closer one for convenience and because they said its better or the one that's a drive away because its cheaper. It says it would cost me £1.50 round trip in petrol for the second one so still works out cheaper but I'm worried its not as good

Thank you so much for all your replies yes they both offer free swimming at all other swimming pools run by the same company so I could go to anyone which is very handy.

I think it makes sense to do them all at the same time on the same day I believe they all have smaller classes for the younger ones in general and I'm hoping to take them once a week work dependant to help move them along quicker and take advantage of the free swimming

I think you are more likely to turn up each week if all 3 swim at the same time.

Those prices sound better! Yes definitely easier to take them at the same time.

Obviously the second one! Sounds like a no-brainer to me!

When it comes to getting kids in the car, and all the hassle that can entail, the difference between an 8 minute drive and a 15 minute drive is neither here nor there, and the difference in petrol isn't enough to matter.

If anything like our local area, availability/waiting lists might decide things for you. We still have a massive backlog from covid and over 100 ahead of us for Stage 1 place for one of our grandchildren. The older ones already in lessons are progressing through with minimal waits for places in higher stages. Worth looking if there are any intensive/crash courses in the school holidays to get them going .

We pay £125 a month for swimming lessons thats 2 children in group lessons and 1 in 1:1 lessons. Lessons are 30 minutes and we drive 20mins to get there. There are closer swim schools but they have larger groups and are more expensive, we are with one of the cheapest companies. Theres only 4 children in a group and the council run groups which are of course cheaper have 8 which i feel is to many.
