Our car costs £88 to fill up. The gas and leccy go up on the 1st. I'm petrified that we won't have food. My kids have arfid so really worried.

You aren’t being unreasonable to be worried, but if you want help you’re going to have to give a bit more context.

We have worse to come if we don’t mitigate the effects of climate change. Food security for most in the west will be a thing of the past for our children if we don’t act drastically now.

It is a worry sadly. Wish I could say it isn’t. Sad

I don't think anyone can see the writing on the wall. Things look woeful IMHO.

There won’t be food scarcity but YANBU in you may not be able to afford to eat every meal with the cost of living crisis. It will be like 1780s Paris. Plenty of food, just too much money to eat 3x a day for all but the well off.

Try intermittent fasting for adults. I just have 1 good meal a day, the kids are fed 3 x a day and baby more often.

I agree. I’m overweight at the mo - don’t think I will be for long as won’t be able to eat soon. We’ve worked out my partners van will now be costing around £300 in fuel a month now. He fills it every fortnight and it’s now £150 a fortnight. That is so scary.

My basket at ASDA (when being very careful) costs the same as what I would have paid at Waitrose five years ago. Infact, it may be a bit more expensive.
