Realistically what payrise (if any) , do you think NHS could be awarded this year? I don't know if I can afford not getting one and may need to look at a career change 😔

£8 a day to park??! 😱 I'm incredibly lucky where I work, then, as we don't get charged at all (I'm NHS staff).

Yeah, city centre location 😔

No parking charges at all in Welsh hospitals.
Spaces are obviously at a premium but we have free park and ride to our 2 main hospital sites.

@Mw19

The hospital where I work is also a city centre location. No charges at all to park. The inconsistency is ridiculous!

Regarding the parking, I feel very bad about it, in numerous places I have worked in the past 15 years or so there has been no virtually no parking if it is a newish building.

The reason is it is no longer possible to give everyone a car parking spot, as planning permission won't be granted due to "environmental reasons"

Most places I have worked, you need to drive there because either:

a) it would be impossible to get there with public transport
or
b) it would take a about 4 times longer by public transport
