Congrats on the improvement in your health, I do think you should enjoy your newfound wellbeing and happiness as much as possible and do everything you can to avoid tipping back into a self hatred spiral as that will be much worse long-term than carrying a bit of extra weight.... can you reframe it more as wanting to establish positive, healthy habits that will make you feel even better, than 'denying' yourself nice things or having to control and restrain yourself until you achieve XYZ goals? I'm thinking things like:
-Drink plenty of water (or squash, or herbal tea or regular tea or whatever you like really) throughout the day, good for hydration, headache avoidance and your skin and will help prevent snacking as our bodies can easily mistake thirst for hunger.
-Find some exercise that you enjoy (ideally something that gets you outside as this is great for mental health), doesn't have to be intense gym sessions, can be brisk walking while listening to a podcast, audio book or music, or a dance class or zumba something you've never tried before, rock climbing or boxing or horse riding? Build up to it gently if you are a bit out of shape at the moment and I can't emphasise enough that you need to find it enjoyable so it's something you look forward to rather than a chore you have to fit in...
-Plan and eat tasty, nourishing homecooked meals incorporating your favourite vegetables and fruits - I don't know if you enjoy cooking but maybe treat yourself to a veg box subscription or a new cookbook or something like Gusto or HelloFresh if you are less confident? Even if you eat large portions or loads of 'unhealthy' things like carbs or cheese (I don't think either are actually unhealthy but some people on here probably will tell you they are), it will be better for you and less fattening than lots of takeaways or junky 'snacks'. If you are a bit of a sweet fiend maybe make your own baked goods so you can control the amount of sugar that goes in? And a trick I use if I get a real sweet craving is to first have a big glass of water, then if I still feel hungry a piece of fruit or some cheese or similar (often at that point I often go yeah not really hungry actually, so I know it's just a sweet craving), but if I've had all that and I still really want the cake/biscuits I do then indulge...
