Active on Instagram but to busy to reply

Not replied in 8 hours but been active multiple times on Instagram. Call him out for not replying and hun telling me he’s busy at work and been non stop.

Am I being unreasonable to accept that considering he’s been active on Instagram 12 times today

Oh dear. If someone 'called me out' in these circumstances I would run a mile.

The problem is he doesn't owe you a reply and perhaps he is being distant because you give off the clingy vibe

Get a hobby.

Who is he to you, OP? Is he your new boyfriend, DP, DH? It's very hard to say without knowing the context.

Are you waiting for him to reply to a specific message?

Call him out for not replying ? What good will that do trying to force someone to reply. His clearly not interested just leave it before you make a fool of yourself

When I'm at work, I quite often open a whatsapp conversation (think group chat) and generally have a quick scroll / see what's going on but I don't necessarily have the time to concoct a full reply. Or I'll get a notification on insta / fb and quickly pop on to check it.

Both of those would show me as 'online' but it doesn't mean I'm actually on there having conversations with people.

It's been 8 hours, not 8 days. If they do text and say 'sorry I've been busy' especially as they have been at work, it's probably legit and you need to chill out and stop monitoring their online status

Just because you message someone it doesn't mean they must reply to you before doing anything else. Probably gonna be quite incompatible. Knock it on the head now and save yourself weeks of stalking

Is this a new relationship or a friend ?
Either way it's stalkers behaviour & you're just one person out of many whom is probably messaging him throughout the day. If he's at work then He'll surely get back to you as soon as he can construct a good reply.

Sometimes people just read notifications and put their phone away. He's read your text and it's in the back of his mind. But calling him out you might have made things worse, so don't be surprised if he takes even longer to reply next time.

Do you both live your life on Instagram?
If so, then I think that real life is going to hit you very hard.
