To not have recognised Tricia Penrose (Gina from Hearbeat)

I recently saw her on T.V and I couldn’t believe how different she looked. I genuinely did not know It was her until my DH pointed out it was her.

I always loved watching heartbeat and even now will sometimes watch the repeats they show on TV.

I recently looked at my wedding photos (20 yrs ago) and then looked in the mirror and realised (depressingly) just how much I had aged. I wouldn't recognise my future self at that age. None of stay the same.

I looked up her age. She is 51. She looks completely normal for a 51 year old. No one ever looks how they used to 20 years ago. No one!

But yes she has. Happens to everyone. I look different to how I did a generation ago.

The woman on the left looks like Tina Malone.

@Zerrin13 I think she looks good for 51. Maybe we have forgotten what a normal middle aged woman looks like seeing as so many women in the public eye have faces pumped full of filler.

@JawboxGinger I love it, I used to watch it with my DF who would tell me the make and model of all the cars and motorbikes and sing along (badly) to all the songs.

I saw her in Egypt about 12 years ago and she looks as lovely now as she did then

Depressingly I think a few of the cast are now deceased- it was a long time ago. We visited the pub in Goathland a few times when I was a kid ( before heartbeat) It’s a lovely little place. I went back about 5 years ago and apart from the heartbeat memorabilia it hasn’t changed.

She looks lovely. More recognisable than Katie Price 🙈

She looks lovely and happy. My 30 years younger self wouldn’t recognise me now. Nothing wrong with that.

Shock horror someone has changed in looks since 30 years ago. She's beautiful inside and out.

She used to be 22 and now she is 52... it will happen to us all if we are lucky.
