To give DD codeine when she has Covid

She's 32, got horrendous headache, joint pains etc. Paracetamol isn't touching it.

I know ibuprofen was a no no for a bit when I had it. So probably avoid that but can't find anything about codeine.

Ibuprofen now considered totally safe to take for Covid.

Codeine perhaps has issues about dependency?

Ibuprofen was the only thing that made me feel better when I had covid. Definitely try that first.
