Posting here for traffic. Can anyone talk to be about how they managed their OCD after becoming a parent? I love my beautiful baby but I’m exhausted and feel so alone sometimes. I’m hoping posting here can help me.

Medication until I was far enough post partum (about 3 years) that it didn't affect me as much. Some therapy and lots of reading about the subject.

It's a long journey and it will never go away but it does get a lot better Flowers

Medication here too, didn’t try it after my first but did after my second and I’ve been much less anxious. Hoping you feel better soon 💐 x

I got diagnosed PP but after a long time. My little one is two this week. I tried the drs and got no where. When I returned to work, my company offered mental health support. I signed up because I just didn't know what was wrong with me. After a couple of sessions, I got diagnosed with OCD. I'm currently having CBT. My OCD is referred to as Pure O. I worry about things excessively and I constantly risk assess everything that could harm my daughter. It's so tough. I hope you're ok.
