I am really sorry if this has been done to death but I thought it might be fun to guess where we are from based on our pronunciation? I would have loved to have studied linguistics and I love this kind of thing. BtW the way the last thing I want is arguments or piss taking, it's just a bit of fun. To begin with (me) 'fack' for 'fuck'

Everyone thinks my people say "aboot", when it's actually pronounced "aboat", eh? Otherwise it's a very phonetic accent...

This does depend a little, I can think of at least five different accents in my own province.

Could be Birmingham or London.

Except London is more like Aw’roight, so I’d say Birmingham.

Hm, same region as me *@Ormally*?
I'm hearing Liverpool, Birkenhead overtones, but don't know if I'm right!

If so, I'm west and north a bit.

Fuzzy** while I've got you there chatting in your accent are you able to tell me what "I'm in me slippurs" means? I read a book set in your neck of the woods years ago and they kept saying it and I couldn't figure it out. Does it mean you're not going out?
