Sorry posting for traffic, seen a good offer about to book but trip advisor doesn’t have the best reviews.

Anyone been, what you think?
4 people, toddler who will be 2 years 9 months, a baby who’ll be 6/7 months and dh and I :)

Sorry what?

@AlisonDonut

Sorry what?
OP is asking if anyone has been there, and what were their thoughts.

OP, I've not been myself, but it looks lovely and if I had more budget I'd definitely go. As it is, we're going for 2 days to DLP and staying at Dave Crocket. Less fancy accom, but has lots of facilities, a great pool and convenient for Disney.

Les villages natures by the looks it’s centre parcs eu cum DL Paris accommodation. We’re planning a week away. Figured it’s got all the advantages of CP, great pool, some free outdoorsy stuff for the toddler, self catering plus it’s v close to Disney for a day out. Found a week for a grand. Wondered if it’s any good

I've never been but would love to!! I had planned to last year but we ended up doing the Disney staycation cruise instead.

I like the idea that there's entertainment when you're not at the park and we regularly go to Center Parcs so i think i'd have the expection that it would be the same.

Especially because it’s only 40 mins from centre of Paris on the rer a and dlp you can easily do in 2 days and there’s a man made beach and Paris is nice and warm in the summer but the reviews and it’s not exactly cheap… ahhh I’m uncertain

Paris is hot in the summer, and also dead during August as most places close up and pop off down South.

Ah brill, well worth the cost then?

Would you say there’s enough of the free activities for a week for a toddler? Xx

Did you go in the end @Kanfuzed123?

I'm wondering about booking for a family keen teens...

Helllooo!

we booked it and it’s well worth it! We went June 22 (so my review might be a tiny bit out of date, so keep that in mind)

we had a dog so booked one of the 3 bed cottages. Now, it was nice and modern, safety gate at top of stairs for kids. But the downstairs bathroom was a wet room and something had broken off the wall and there was some exposed wires (all covered in plastic coating so probably no real risk) we called the reception and took ages to get through to the right place, was promised it to be fixed but nothing happened. Under the bed there were some very large dust bunnies and outside in the patio bit there was mousing droppings all over it BUT the area is basically backing onto a pond and is exposed land so in truth there’s nothing the facility could do to prevent it, but maybe a sign or something. I think if you stayed in an apartment you’d get rid of that risk.

staff wise I found the restaurant staff to be very very attentive and accommodating. The franprix on site is overpriced but that’s always the way. The crepe place and the pizza place were quite nice and I didn’t find the pricing too bad either. The bakery though… I’m stilll dreaming about that pain au chocolat. Seriously delicious stuff there.

facilities are lovely… the pool is very very nice. It’s huge, lots of slides, wave pool, really very very nice. One of the best I’ve ever been to actually. We never did any activities aside from a pony ride as my kids were too young but they are a lot more reasonably priced than UK centre parks.

We went to DLP 2 days there. As a base for DLP, I personally think it’s a bit trickier as the carpark to the park is a fair walk and you can’t really nip back to the hotel for a rest in the middle of the day but as your kids are a bit older you probably won’t feel that as much.

I’d seen some reviews that the staff were rude and hostile and that wasn’t my experience. The only thing would’ve been with the wires in the bathroom and then it was more useless than rude

I’d definitely go again and I think you’d have a great time

Waterpark is great for older kids, we didn't really do much else there, just used it as a 2 day break from the city (Paris) break. Lodges were smart, restaurant and carre 4 expensive, went about 4 years ago.

Margaretlistens · 24/09/2023 14:57

Thanks both ☺️

Dolores87 · 24/09/2023 15:13

We stayed here 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. Probably one of the best holidays we've had as a family. We used it as a base and did Disney and a couple of days out in Paris itself. The centre parcs itself is a nice one. Modern clean facilities.

Howlongdoesittake · 24/09/2023 15:34

We went last year, got a fabulous deal. Used it for access to EuroDisney. Had a great time. It was clean and bright. Very spacious cabin. Would deffo go again if I could get a similar price.

Margaretlistens · 24/09/2023 15:37

Did you get Disney and the accommodation together? I'm looking at Easter and it's looking like £1000 for a week, £700 for Disney and £500 for travel???

Me no, I booked separate through centre parcs site and got tickets from Disney (but it was just 2 adults).

ive been Disney since and sometimes it’s cheaper to do their hotel for Disney days as you get the early magic hr and the hotel and tickets are all in one.

could you 2 nights Disney hotel and then the rest VN

We are staying here next July! We have some tickets to Olympics so staying here, 2 days in DLP and 5 days at the Olympics!

do you know how far it is from the station? I’m deciding whether to take my car or get the train! We have hired bikes so in theory could cycle to the station I guess!

It’s not accessible for the train station, you’d need to get a taxi but we brought the car and it’s a nice drive according to dh

Hope you have a grand time! The aqua lagoon is very nice! Definitely make some time to go the bakery too. The striped pain au chocolat too, elite!

The pool is amazing and the little farm with the horse riding is fantastic. The lodges are typical European CP and have no oven.

The food in the restaurants isn’t great.

It’s a fantastic base for Disney.

See I thought the pizza place was fine, and the crepes were nice and the bakery too I didn’t go to the burger place so can’t comment but we did the cafe by the farm and they bent over backwards for us, oven had broken and the plated this huge salad, cheese plate, and charcuterie board and bread basket and barely charged.
