Haven't seen a thread on this so apologies if there already is one about this.

Yet another case of a poor little boy being killed by his mum's partner. I really don't understand how people end up in these situations but that's an innocent life lost at the hands of his careers. RIP poor boy💔

How long will they get I wonder? He’s 28 so will probably be out before he’s 40. She’s 24 and got manslaughter so will probably be out before she’s 30. Meanwhile that beautiful little boy will still have had his life stolen after knowing nothing other than pain, torture and fear in his short life and dying in agony.

Seriously people think subhumans like this can be rehabilitated and don’t deserve the death penalty? People die all over the world everyday and no one bats an eyelid but scum like this should be kept alive at vast expense and be given help and support when they are free again. What a crazy world we live in?

BabyTurtIe · 04/03/2022 20:40

It doesn’t matter what part she worked in it, these are the people working in children’s social services, it’s disgusting and this is what they do in their own life. She didn’t stop him as it said she was also hitting him.

GreyTS · 04/03/2022 20:42

Beautiful innocent baby, no comment in the animal who killed him and the mother who failed to protect him....so hard to understand

PonyPatter44 · 04/03/2022 20:49

Its not exactly all of them, is it? Some particularly pea-brained people will use this as evidence of rotten social services, conveniently forgetting the thousands of children kept safe every day, and forgetting that its not her employer, her parents, her milkman or God to blame, its the mum and partner.
BabyTurtIe · 04/03/2022 20:53

She’s hardly the first corrupt person working in a position of trust is she? 🙄 it’s very relevant that she worked for social services so no need to call me a “pea-brain”!

BabyTurtIe · 04/03/2022 20:54

Working with vulnerable children meanwhile abusing her own 😒

HoldingTheDoor · 04/03/2022 20:55

Horrific doesn't begin to cover what that poor boy suffered. It's depressing how often cases like Kyrell's appear in the news and those are only the ones we get to hear of.

It's heartbreaking to know that he could have had the life that he deserved with his grandparents or another family if authorities have intervened sooner.

I'm normally against the death penalty but I can't imagine that the world would be any poorer without these two or the other child murderers that we've heard about. Whatever sentence they receive will be an insult considering what that beautiful boy suffered at their hands.

Roses1221 · 04/03/2022 20:57

@HardbackWriter hopefully because of the focus on Ukraine rather than anything else. I’m sure it would have been nearer the top of the news pages otherwise. RIP little one. Born the same month and year as my son. If only you’d had a different mummy

yoyobaby · 04/03/2022 20:57

@HardbackWriter

Depressing but predictable that this case seems to be getting much less coverage and public outrage than the recent, similarly horrific, cases involving white children.
Yep! I thought there would have been numerous threads on here about this already but was somewhat shocked that no one had started one already. Surprised but not surprised

I really do agree with this. Surely these people cannot be 'fixed' or cannot 'change' and come back to society. People that are capable of harming a child or not intervening when they see such things happening have something seriously wrong with them

This was the top non-Ukraine invasion news on the BBC this afternoon. I think there is just a lot of horrible news everywhere Sad

SaggyTights · 04/03/2022 21:15

Chilling. My blood ran cold hearing about this. How anyone could inflict such violence on a child is just unthinkable. Such an innocent, sweet little soul let down so badly by the people who should have loved and cherished him. May he rest in peace.

sst1234 · 04/03/2022 21:17

Because some people are more interested in breeding (this word gets a lot of undue hate) for their own ends rather than for the children. Then they go on to shack up with other wasters equally as disgusting as themselves to subject those children to a life of misery. Because personal responsibility is no longer a thing. Because it’s always someone’s else’s fault that - like the government, the neighbour, the cat. And when all else fails, ‘Oh she must have had mental health issues’ or ‘but he had a terrible upbringing’ or ‘we need to support people more’. No - crap parents are responsible for their own actions. Especially when they subject children to such horror.

PurpleThursdays · 04/03/2022 21:27

Poor little baby. The video of him smiling and laughing.... how could anyone do that to him. RIP beautiful boy. My heart is breaking.

FantasticFebruary · 04/03/2022 21:28

@BulletTrain

Hopefully someone will drown him in a prison toilet.
After they've used it!!

The mother us just as bad AND she worked for the child protection service at some point too.

Depends on what she did - if she’s a registered social worker, yep it’s relevant. If she’s a minimum wage payments clerk who just happens to be processing invoices in child services rather than home care or refuse services, no I don’t think it’s relevant. You don’t need a DBS or any other clearance to work in council admin roles.
Porfre · 04/03/2022 21:57

I saw the video of Kyrell he was so cute.

I think this was the second news story on the news today.

Its absolutely horrific, but like so many stories in the last few months it was due to violence from the parents new partner.

I only know if I was ever to separate or leave my husband, I wouldn't let anyone near my kids.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 04/03/2022 22:22

Such a beautiful baby. I'd give them both a whole life tariff. Yes I do believe in second chances and that one day a perpetrator/s punishment has to come to an end, but not child killers/abusers. I can't imagine what a time they're going to have inside. We all know how fellow prisoners feel about those who put their hands on a child. Mind you I'm sure they'll be fine after all they're probably hiding in PC with their knees knocking. These types of evil wicked people aren't quite so "tough" when faced with the big boys/girls

HikingforScenery · 04/03/2022 22:26

Poor baby. That’s so sad. Let down by those who were supposed to protect him.

TangerineClay · 05/03/2022 09:01

He looks so unhappy in the photo they are using of him in the football kit. I remember seeing the photo in the news a while back and thinking one of his abusers had probably taken the photo. Poor little kid. What a horrible life he had. Sad
