Please pray to whatever you believe in or hold my baby girl Iris in your thoughts, she’s 3 days old and needs as much strength as possible please

So glad that things have improved. Keep talking about your fears and what has happened in order to help process it and don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it! You've been through a frightening experience on top of giving birth. What a beautiful name! X

Thank you everyone ♥️ The thought is fetal growth restriction, she’s on 0.4th percentile. Born at 39 weeks but is basically as though she was really premature. She’s doing well on preemie bottles and can now be woken up for feeds Smile

DS2 had this - luckily caught a bit earlier but had to stay in for several weeks.

He was tiny, but super healthy, very bright and all caught up now. Babies are unbelievably resilient.

Make sure you get out of the hospital and breathe normal air every day, it's bloody tough Flowers

I had a scan at 34 weeks due to reduced movements, she measured a teeny bit over what she does now on that scan so was doing well.
We then had 5 weeks of stress. Police, social services, domestic violence refuge, couldn’t see a midwife or anything. Moved into our new home with nothing and went into the labour the next day with no friends or support. So I’m not sure what causes it but I don’t think that level of stress and anxiety was helpful!
Thankfully ds who has autism is safe and being cared for and me and Iris are in the best place for us. Hopefully soon we can move in properly and start fresh!

Myself and my uncle were preeemies and that was back in the days before half the knowledge and medical expertise there is now!

We are now big hephalumps of almost 70 and almost 50!
