Fb selling and making offers

Am I the only person that pays what someone is asking for when selling on fb?

I've bought second hand several times and only consider items that are being sold at a price I am willing to pay. If they are asking for an amount I feel is too much, I ignore.

I've just tried selling for first time. Anything I've put on for free has been picked up promptly (as expected). Now selling a brand new electrical item for £150 (sealed and in box, available in shops for £200). I've had countless offers for under £50 and am getting to the stage where I may just put on ebay instead. I assumed I would be offered less than what I put but less than a third of the selling price?!

People are really cheeky and try their luck - basically!
It’s basically like an updated boot fair where people walk around offering pence for decent items.

I used a few local free stuff fb groups too when moving house and needed to get rid of stuff quickly - one person asked me to drive 10 miles to deliver a free item to them and got annoyed when I refused. People are cheeky and will try it!

I am astounded at how cheeky they are! Ebay gets a bad rep because of the way it can treat sellers but I would prefer it and paying the seller fees to avoid the pointless messages with miniscule offers
