None of this warmongering, egotistical bullshit from entitled men! Let women take over - we are excellent at multi tasking, will find practical solutions and won’t be pointing nuclear weapons at each other!!!!

Aibu? 😆

@Speakuptomakeyourselfheard

I take it this is a follow up on my post about whether it would be possible for women to rule the world? I think a lot of you aren't really thinking into it long term. If we were able to get a grip on all of the major positions in the world, government, banking/finance, industry, etc, then employed all women rather than men, I think it could work.

The problem that a lot of you see at present, is that the women that have held the top jobs, ie, the Maggie Thatchers of this world, headmistresses, female CEO's etc. all appear to be just as ruthless and down on women as the men are. That’s because they've had to act like that in order to compete with the men to get where they are. The difference is, that men have always had us women around to give birth and stay at home to nurture the next generation, while they get on with the 'important work' (lol). Whereas women don't have another woman at home to do this for them, so get knocked off their perch the minute they show any weakness like caring about their sick child at home. Men just don't have to do this. However, if we could get enough women in important roles by using guile and cunning, why couldn’t we then employ more women, and at the same time arrange affordable creches, so that there is always proper support for those of the female gender who want to do the top jobs. We could even send men to university to learn how to do the caring role, like we’ve had to do over the centuries. Come on girls, let your imaginations run wild. Let’s hear some positive ideas instead of all this negativity, as it seems to me from what I’m reading, that we really have been conditioned to think that we’re not clever enough, or strong enough to rule the world, which is of course, exactly what has happened, and who did it to us …….MEN!!

So basically your answer to sexism is sexism.

There should be a world council of ‘mothers’ who co ordinate the planet .
Mothers means nurturing loving individuals not power driven.
We could have free energy - the technology is around but hidden. No more hunger , no war and no religion . All major religions are dogmatic and tell people what to believe. People free to believe and worship independently.
A planet not driven by money and vanity but love and compassion.
Care for the living earth and all life forms.
For it to happen enough people in the world have to believe and want it to happens.
Thoughts are powerful - believe

Some all of the worse behaved people I've worked with have been women (I am a woman!). I've also met some lovely ones BUT 3 out of 4 of the rudest, manipulative and disloyal were females.

Bugbeds · 21/02/2022 23:35

What sexist crap.

thatdarncat · 21/02/2022 23:36

YANBU

I’ve said this for years.

nalabae · 22/02/2022 00:09

women dont even like other women, the amount of jealously women have for each other this would not work

MaryAndHerNet · 22/02/2022 00:12

Yeah no,..

I mean men are twats, they'll go to war for money, land and power...
Women would go to war because someone slagged off their shoes... Or took the cushions off the sofa...

😋

WomanStanleyWoman · 22/02/2022 07:42

I quite like the idea of the world being run like Mumsnet. You can just imagine the UK telling the US, ‘Russia is obviously a narc. Countries like that never change! Time to go NC’.

BlondeDogLady · 22/02/2022 08:21

I have always said, that if all of the World's leaders were women, that there would be much less war, if any.

My Mum used to say, that women wouldn't send their sons to war.

I'm overjoyed that so many countries now do have women at the helm.

That might be the case, but you don't see women killing other people indiscriminately as much as men. Women are rarely as violent as men. Of course female leaders might clash on certain things, but imo, they would be far less likely to find the solution by blowing up the opposition.
JackieWeaverHandforthCouncil · 22/02/2022 08:30

Nope. A balance is what’s required. True diversity in all forms to level each other out, provide differing options, opinions etc. Dominance by one group never works well long term. Humanity would be so much more advanced without the destruction of the planet if we had true equality and diversity and all levels.

Moonface123 · 22/02/2022 08:50

Planet Earth is more than capable of running itself. It survivied much better before humans ever came along and ruined everything. If a deadly virus were to come along and wipe out all humans, it would carry on regardless and if Earth were to suddenly spontaneously combust the rest of the universe wouldn' t even miss us.
Yet here we are so full of our own self importance and entitlement we can' t even live next door to our neighbours, nevermind another country without conflict, and that goes for both men and women.

Knittingchamp · 22/02/2022 08:57

We just need a mix of gender, race, neurodiversity and everything else that we should have in leadership, but don't.

EmpressCixi · 22/02/2022 13:19

It’s not negativity to understand that women are not inherently superior to men. Men and women are equally intelligent and capable of top jobs/ruling.

So a world where men are oppressed instead of women is simply a mirror image of the same shit now. Why should this be viewed as a positive thing? There’s nothing positive about proposing a different but also unfair society in terms of the actual goal which is an equal and fair society for all

EmpressCixi · 22/02/2022 13:26

@BlondeDogLady

But women DO send their sons and husbands off to war. And in general, women leaders are no less willing to send men into battle.

Your opinion that female leaders are less likely to “blow the opposition up” as in wage war, is not borne out by history. A study done on European Kings and Queens for 500yrs found that the Queens were 27% more likely to wage war than the Kings.

qz.com/967895/throughout-history-women-rulers-were-more-likely-to-wage-war-than-men/

“In fact, between 1480 and 1913, Europe’s queens were 27% more likely than its kings to wage war, according to a National Bureau of Economics working paper (paywall). And like Isabella, queens were also more likely to amass new territory during their reigns, found the paper’s authors, economists Oeindrila Dube and S.P. Harish.

But why? A lot of it comes down to the queenly management style—and how radically it differed from that of kings.

The first clue comes from the fact that, of all European sovereigns, married queens were the most bellicose, launching more wars than unmarried queens, and kings of all types. This might be because, thanks to gender norms, women rulers tended to benefit more from marriage alliances than kings. Married queens were likelier than kings to wage war alongside allies, often their spouses’ nations. And queens frequently roped their husbands into helping rule—something that kings hardly ever did with their wives.”

Missey85 · 22/02/2022 13:29

LOL the war would go on forever with all that PMS 😝 they'd be just as bad as the blokes

Janesmom · 22/02/2022 13:44

Lol. Current UK ministers: Patel, Truss, Dorries

Need I say more?

itsjustnotok · 22/02/2022 13:44

@Letshaveablackcelebration the right people in the right job are great. Women are just as capable of being vicious. They can carry a grudge like men and can become egotistical. It’s all about the person.
