Bloody Tesco

Before I get started on let me say I’m in North East and weather is not bad here.

Made the decision to switch to Tesco. Get first order today, comes an hour late - ok, switches my diet drinks for full fat - ok will just refuse substitutions… but the best thing has to be that they just don’t deliver half my shop! Ring them and they basically say whoops our error but we can’t redeliver until 2 days time as we’re fully booked. Wtf have I made the worst mistake moving from Morrisons to Tesco? I always hear great things about Tesco but this is just a joke?

@PolkaSpace none when Tesco delivered them 😂 but they went wild for fresh mint, and little bits of coriander, parsley, dill and thyme. They ate better than I did.

I’d say try Asda, but you may be put off by shoppers doing the T-Rex willynilly…

Tesco cancelled my order yesterday not long before it was due. I get there was a storm, but some more warning would have been nice so I could have rearranged it - by then there were no slots until Monday, so gone back to Ocado who are delivering today.

I'm totally judgemental about Tesco. Back in the day, when I first started supermarket shopping their stores were full of hanging promotion signs, loud music blared out and I hated them. Still do. I never go in them, would never get an online delivery from them. Yuk.

I'm also in the north east and have used Tesco for deliveries for over 5 years, and other than the usual subs/not available items, we've never had a problem with them.

They've even been great when I've forgotten about the delivery and not been home to receive it, they let us know if the driver can come back or we can collect it from the store (10 mins drive away)
Even when they running early, they call to check someone is home
