Sorry, posting here for traffic, as can't get to pharmacy because of high winds.
Can anyone suggest what this rash on my 4 yr old's torso might be, please?
It started off as a few white bumps in one place, but has started to turn red and spread across the torso.
Sorry for the crap photo, but my child was wriggling!

How long has the rash been there? From the photo it looks like a heat rash or an allergy rash possibly?

No one on the Internet can diagnose your child's rash. Call 111 if you are worried.

In the first instance do the glass roll test. Call 111 for advice but generally you should try antihistamines initially if glass test is clear.

the internet is
Not the place to diagnose
A rash, see your Doc

Thanks, everyone, who has replied.
I have been unable to get her seen by a doctor, nor even at a pharmacy, as my local area has been adversely affected by high winds (falling trees etc).
Had been trying 111, but mobile phone network patchy at best, so calls kept dropping. Broadband signal was unaffected, so turned to the internet.
Thank you for the actually helpful comments.

Not a clear enough picture to tell. Agree from the little I can see it appears to be a heat rash or allergy.
If glass test is clear, temperature is normal and child is generally well in themselves I wouldn't be too concerned.
Think: have they worn something from shop before I had a chance to wash it they could be having a reaction to, have you changed washing powder, bubble bath, etc.
If the child is bothered by it/finding it itchy try some piriton for kids.
Otherwise could well be gone in a week.
If you are concerned then 111 is where you start.
