AIBU to question this re. Covid passport

I've just had someone UNVACCINATED claim that, because they've had Covid (PCR test), they're now considered immune for 180 days and have a Covid Passport to prove that.

Is that really the case? I haven't yet turned up the evidence which states that. (OK I only spent 10 mins on Google)

Even less reason for anti-vaxxers to change their minds about the vaccine.

Doesn't sound right to me but depends on country I suppose.

SickAndTiredAgain · 12/02/2022 18:53

Yes I think that’s right for the NHS one to use on this country.

If you wanted to travel internationally, different countries would have different rules.

SickAndTiredAgain · 12/02/2022 18:55

Oh, I’ve got that the wrong way round. You can’t get a domestic one with a positive PCR, but can get a travel one

Usually PCR tests are required 24-72 hrs before departure by the destination country for unvaccinated travellers.

For domestic use I don't know but it doesn't make any sense.

Edinvillian · 12/02/2022 19:00

Yes that's what it says on mine. To begin with it said 3 months but when I checked the other day it had extended to 6 months.

Edinvillian · 12/02/2022 19:02

Just reread your post, I'm vaccinated so don't know if there's a difference.

BrightBlueCast · 12/02/2022 19:43

And for domestic use not travel.
