Nerdle and Husband - should I LTB?

So we play wordle and nerdle every morning. Today I got nerdle in 3, my husband got it in 4 earlier than me. But couldn't work out how I went from line 2 to 3 and said I cheated 😱.

I didn't cheat, but AIBU to be furious and LTB over these outrageous accusations!

I try to use as many numbers as possible and work out where the equals sign is. Refine on the second line, using different operations if first guess was wrong. But I've only played twice so far and got it in 4 both times.

I do it with my son and he always accuses me of cheating if I do better than him, which mich too my annoyance is not that often.

Only just joined in on Nerdle. Am I supposed to have an a4 sheet of workings or am I a bit dim?

it's a site where (I think) someone has recreated the technology and just copies in each new wordle daily, acknowlodging the creator
I guess NY times might jump in at some point and put a stop to it - but that will presumably leave the 230 or so residual games before they purchased.

you can choose which game you want to start with and hit "next" to power through (or previous to do them in reverse) - or just choose randomly.
You can see the ones you've done (and go back and have a second attemt if you failed any)

The other day (spoiler alert) the solution was 9+8÷8=10 . I can see hw it can be and I got it right even though it looked wrong because it was the only possible answer based on previous, but is that cheating... by them?

I've not noticed any difference playing these archived ones to the real one.

Having spent 40 minutes doing the hardmathler today Nerdle was a breeze!

@caringdenise009 - it was the lack of brackets that confused me when I first tried it! - that and it being about 2am
I know this stuff from writing excel formulae a lot - but need to rethink/refresh my head on it!

BODMAS/BEDMAS/PEDMAS depending on where you are. Which means you do the 8/8 first to get 1 and then add to 9

Urgh it’s Globle! Stupid autocorrect!

Ah! I didn't know about Globle. Worldl is similar but more text based and gives you a helpful indicator of whether to guess further south, north east or west.

discovered wordle recently & enjoy it (& completed all the archived ones) but didn't get nerdle misses point of thread but don't understand how you cheat - each subsequent attempt has an element of guessing.

There’s archive ones???
