To feel like today is Friday?

I keep getting a fright because I genuinely believe it's Friday and then suddenly remember it's only Thursday. Along with this being the longest week ever, it feels like Friday 😫 Spoke to a few friends in real life and they feel like this also. There must be a reason.

Anyone else?

Me too!

It's because DS had a "wear purple for mental health" day today, and tomorrow is "dress as your chosen inspirational person" day. Normally it would just be one dress-up day on a Friday.

The days have felt all wrong this whole week for me. But especially today, have really felt like it was Friday.

I did as well. The evenings were suddenly noticeably lighter yesterday and today… don’t know if that’s got something to do with it.

I've had this all week! I've felt like I've been a day ahead it's really weird.

On Wednesday I couldn't get the idea it was Thursday out of my head

I know what you mean, I tend to confuse days sometimes too. Some days just "feel" like other days.

I never know what day it is anyway, but DH said earlier that he spent the whole day today thinking it was Friday. It's like an episode of Black Mirror 😂

Bloody hell OP- I have been feeling this all day! And yesterday I kept thinking it was Thursday. But I had Monday off so surely I should be feeling a day behind rather than ahead ?!?

We have all felt the same this week, how bizarre! I let my DS fall asleep on the sofa watching a movie tonight - then realised he had school in the morning and DH had to carry him upstairs - DS is nearly 14!!

I googled in search of an explanation but couldn't find one. I have also noticed a shift in my mood this week, more up beat, motivated and feeling positive, finding it less of a struggle to get out of bed etc. So I'm going to assume it all has something to do with the lighter nights coming in?

Strange but the good news is that it is actually Friday today! Bring on the weekend...
