Sorry posting for traffic.

Has anyone taken propranolol? I've just started taking it for migraines and it's making me feel very "spacey" and weird, and like I'm slurring my words a bit. Is this normal?!

I took it and it was awful. I already have a relatively slow heart beat. Fitbit shows usually

I take it for migraines and anxiety. It's been life changing. My migraines are gone and it's very helpful with anxiety.

I was on the maximum dosage for severe anxiety a few years ago and I hated it. I’d suffered from migraines in the past and the neurologist told me the physical symptoms I was experiencing from grief and anxiety were migraine related when I knew they weren’t. I’d wake up tired in the morning after a full nights sleep, had zero energy and I had to nap every day. The doctor who put me on it made a big mistake. I wouldn’t touch it now but I’ve been told by other people to it helped them. Speak to your doctor. Your speech shouldn’t be slurring.

Worth trying. Helped my anxiety symptoms at a time I was really struggling, but, I generally have low blood pressure normally, and whilst I was on them, and then had a cold/virus (raised temp), and then did some sitting meditation, I managed to lower my BP so much I passed out and hurt myself. Didn’t take them again after that!
