So , I have been going round in circles and I am not normally dim - but DH has to go to NY on the 14/2 and needs a Covid19 PCR test no more than one day before ( by which I mean negative result - so test has to be earlier ) - he is busy in meetings so I said I would investigate - I can't find out where I can order one which would be accepted and arrive in time & I have tried . LFT won't do. I have one here but it was for his brother who lives abroad - can't do that.

Sorry to bother anyone but am I missing something obvious here - have been on all BA CDC websites and can't see how to order one to get back in time to do the test & get the result by the 13th. But I may be just not doing it properly.

If anyone can help - I would very much appreciate it . If not - not your problem - so Thanks if anyone can

Sorry I’m to intrude, but with the rapid antigen video call tests are you able to have someone assist? I’ll be helping an elderly relative soon with mobility and vision/eye problem but don’t want to invalidate the test somehow. I’m probably overthinking it…

I have just got back from holiday in USA- did an observed LFT with 3sixtesting.co.uk the day before travel. You have to join a waiting room (brief wait) and get the kit they sent earlier ready and then they observe you doing the test, you record the result fifteen minutes later and then they email you a certificate of proof shortly after. We lost connection and they were quick to phone us and we didn't have to queue again so I think they would be supportive to an elderly person with vision problems At the airport airline staff (we flew with Virgin) were checking vaccination and LTF documentation while people were in the check in queue so that speeded up check in. Timing of the LFT is key though: four people from our tour group of 35 were unable to travel despite not having Covid because of not having their LFT within the time window.
