Ready made couscous and poached salmon pieces or smoked mackerel. Pick up a rotisserie chicken. Get an Aldi stew pack - meat and veg cut up plus the sauce, just cook no preparation

How no cook? Completely?

The other day I heated up an uncle Ben's bean Mexican rice pouch and topped with avocado, salsa and jalapenos and it was lovely. Could've been more nutritious with a few salad leaves and maybe some extra beans.

What about wraps with pre cooked salmon/chicken and a choice of other fillings like cous cous salad, guacamole etc?

Falafels on ready made or instant (add hot water) cous cous with houmous, olives and some ready roasted peppers/artichoke

Also when I was a kid on Saturdays we used to get a rotisserie chicken, baguettes and salad and have that for an easy supper with olives, mayo and sweetcorn

Comedycook · 07/02/2022 21:21

Smoked salmon on rye bread with shop bought potato salad

Pitta and dips

Which part of cooking do you dislike OP? Is it the meal planning or preparation or actual cookery?

DC1214 · 07/02/2022 21:24

Sushi
Fresh soup for microwave
Cheeseboard with fruit
Falafel with pitta n hummus
Corn tacos with cold fillings - prawns or cooked chicken, shredded lettuce, avocado, hot sauce

If you have a decent sized Morrisons that's handy their deli counter usually has a goodie range, I've got hot lasagna, chilli and baked potatoes and pies from there before just to give some variety outside of rotisserie chicken which is also one of my fallbacks. Love getting a rotisserie chicken and fresh baguette in the summer. Warm the baguette for a few minutes in a hot oven then assemble with nice salted butter on the bread so it goes all melty into the chicken, mmmmm.

When you say no cook
Would traybakes / slow cooker meals that don’t need any prep or faffing be acceptable?

NotInMyFrontGardenYouDont · 07/02/2022 21:33

Omelette doesn't take much cooking? Baked potatoes and tuna mayo?

SiobhanSharpe · 07/02/2022 21:34

Tuna and bean salad?
Tin of tuna in olive oil, tin of cannellini beans, couple of sliced spring onions, garlic if you like, some cherry tomatoes and /or sliced red peppers.
Mix together, season with oil and vinegar or lemon juice. Serve on a bed of mixed leaves and some nice bread, if you need filling up a bit more.

Garlic ciabatta, 10 minutes in the oven. Mozzarella, tomatoes and pesto. You can also add avocado and balsamic glaze. Quick, tasty and easy.

MyComputerGetsSadWithoutMe · 07/02/2022 21:35

Depends how no cook
Jacket potato's are easy
Pasta and pesto
Omelette
Pitta bread pizzas
Soups

SiobhanSharpe · 07/02/2022 21:37

Tabbouleh? Needs only to be soaked in cold water for a few minutes, then drained and squeezed dry. Add lots of veg like tomatoes, cucumber and spring onions, herbs and pieces of bought cooked chicken.
Moisten with olive oil and lemon juice.

TheRemotePart · 07/02/2022 21:38

Slow
Cooker!
Chuck in random stuff. Walk away for 8 hours
Done

SiobhanSharpe · 07/02/2022 21:39

I second a nice rotisserie chicken with baguette(s) and deli coleslaw or potato salad.

SiobhanSharpe · 07/02/2022 21:41

Local Tesco's also does roasted ham knuckle on the hot deli counter, bread, salad etc.
Llkewise sausages and chicken wings .

44PumpLane · 07/02/2022 21:51

Is the "no cook" due to kitchen issues or just that you don't want to cook?

If kitchen issues then asda create your own pizza counters in larger stores will cook the pizza for an extra 40p, having that with salad would be a lovely option.

Likewise, a slow cooker would do you a multitude of dishes without the need for an actual kitchen.

If you just don't want to cook then lots of fab suggestions above :)
