Range cookers

Hi please could anyone give me some advice on range cookers. We have had a nightmare with our current one which is a smeg Victoria 90cm and the company we bought from have agreed to now let us pick a different one. I have tried researching and think I might go for Rangemaster? We are tied to 90cm and can’t have gas so would go for induction hob and electric ovens. Some one the ones I have looked at is the professional pro and the nexus I think.

I would honestly appreciate any advice and help

Thanks in advance

On holiday I used a fan oven which was amazing. Roasted potatoes and vegetables in about 30 mins to perfection. Are all fan ovens like that? I’d like to replace my old gas rangemaster but don’t want to switch to electric if they aren’t all as good as the one I used on holiday.
I still want gas hob due to living in an area where we seem to get power cuts often.

Rangemasters are brilliant. I had my last one for 12 years then sold it as I wanted a different model (and got about a third of the price we paid for it via eBay!) - it still worked perfectly and after having it professionally cleaned it looked like new despite me hammering it.

I love them. Mine is a gas hob and electric oven so can't advocate for induction hob though.

We've got an all electric Falcon, it's absolutely amazing to cook on. We haven't got mains gas and the LPG is too expensive so we went for induction hob and electric ovens. The grill is so solid, and we mainly use the side oven.

Ours is the 100cm, and we got the matching extractor - think it was about £5k all in but worth every penny. We're looking to move at the moment and my only criteria is fitting in the cooker Grin

Bit above my budget but thank you.

I have a 90 cm Rangemaster.
It electric fan ovens and gas hob.

It's brilliant.

When/if it goes I'll replace with the same but have an induction hob instead.

I have a 90cm Belling Gourmet Induction range and it's bloody brilliant. Bought mine from a local graded place. It was still wrapped and on a pallet but the door glass was broken. The store replaced the glass and I got a brand new oven without a mark for £300 less than the retail. The guarantee with Belling is still honoured as well.

Don't discount graded appliances, the damage is very often so tiny you struggle to see it.

I have a 90cm range master classic induction hob/fan oven and we love it. It looks great, it cooks beautifully and I love having two ovens and a separate grill. Our previous rangemaster (gas hob) in our old house was 20 years old and still looked good and worked well when we moved. Ours came from Whitaker's of Shipley and they were fab. Including delivery and with the matching extractor hood and it was still cheaper than just the cooker alone from John Lewis.

In the end we replaced the smeg which we hated with the 90cm induction range master professional delux and I love it. 1 tall fan oven and the other is multi oven and its soo easy to clean too
