Willing to try anything at this point after spending 4 months asleep and in agony
I’ve tried everything I can - this is my last attempt, anyone tried it?
Am I crazy?

I've heard it can improve symptoms but it's a series of sessions, not just one. Can you afford it? I think you get to the point where you'll try anything but there's always chance is that whilst it works for some it might not work for everyone. Have you been referred to a Long Covid clinic?

Have you been formally diagnosed? Make sure it is not another underlying condition. It’s easy to get swept along by the hype surrounding Covid. I spent 12 months thinking my symptoms were long Covid. Turns out I had breast cancer. My long Covid symptoms pretty much disappeared after surgery even though I had second dose of Covid two weeks before having the surgery.
With GPS unavailable and so focused on Covid many people with other diseases are being missed. Particularly since the routine screening has not been available for nearly two years.

Gosh that’s really scary to read and I’m
So sorry for all you must have been through
My symptoms came on with Covid and have never left - I have been referred to the LC clinic but it’s a 6 week wait and I’m due back at work in a week
I just can’t keep feeling like this

I would second the PPs suggestion of ruling out everything else - I started feeling awful and had lingering effects after my last covid booster at the end of last year and just put it down to side effects and generally feeling run down at the end of the year.

I then had a routine annual blood test just after New Year for a long term condition I have and it showed up that I was dangerously anaemic (normal haemoglobin levels are 120-150, mine was in the low 50s) and I had to have emergency iron treatments. The doctor said that I was probably running on the low end of normal and the covid booster just made it go low but because I was a bit under the weather at the end of the year, my body just didn't have the energy to boost my levels back up to normal and it just kept getting worse because I wasn't aware so didn't get treatment. Almost as soon as I had my iron treatments most of the acute symptoms went away and the few lingering ones are greatly reduced in their effects.

I’ve had blood tests and apart from folic acid being low everything else was fine.
I’ve been on supplements for over 3 months for that and no change at all.

Can you ask to see a physio whilst you wait? My DS was sent to physio/OT during his wait for the LC clinic and it helped ease a lot of his joint pain. Is that what you have?

Also have a look at vagus nerve stimulation and diaphragmatic breathing. Both recommended by the LC clinic and helps with getting the deep sleep you need at night so that you don't feel fatigued during the day.

I hope you get to see the Long Covid clinic soon and that your health improves.

Someone I know is finding great benefits with this treatment for her long covid. She's paying privately. It's in the north of England if that's where you're based?

I know this is an extremely old thread, but it came up when I searched about this. Did you try it? Did it help?

I've had long covid for over 4 years and still not able to work/leave my house, etc. Not sure I could afford this, but if it worked I think family and friends would be willing to contribute some money!
