Yes any worries the GPS should see a baby that young asap. I would ring the GP today? They can check her for you then and help with advice.
They would always rather see a well baby and tell you they are fine (what I have been told by my dr!)
Also recommend saline drops for nose and the snot sucker thing. I guess try feeding more upright too so they can breathe better.
Of course babies get colds all the time but I would 100% ring the GP anyway😊 x

@LefttoherownDevizes

I realised this sounds scary and I honestly didn't meant to scare you. He is 13 now and (nearly) taller than me, the GPs still recognize him add the baby who was really sick.

Point is there is a lot they can do to help, they wouldn't begrudge checking out one so small and equally when you're gut says something is seriously wrong trust it. It's hard when they're so small at it can be less obvious, they are not yet in a routine for you to notice they're eating/drinking/wearing less often.

Best of luck

Yes absolutely

And thank you all also

So so useful 🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏

The lullaby trust has quite a good app called baby check you could look at. If you have any concerns at all re breathing or dehydration (keep an eye on temperature and wet nappies) then call 111 or your GP.

My son also was very seriously unwell with RSV - it’s v.common in under twos but can cause breathing difficulties in little ones so no one will mind at all checking him out even if it turns out to be a false alarm.

@Bigoakbeam

I should add that once in desperation when i couldn't find the snotsucker gadget i actually put my mouth over DS2s tiny nose and gently sucked the snot into my own mouth and spat it out. Did the trick and its weird with your own babies, it wasn't icky at all!
Yep been there Blush

Fab will check the app out too
