Just this really. Why on earth would anyone go to the trouble of describing a set of symptoms to an ether full of strangers, most of whom are not medically qualified, asking for a diagnosis? Such a dangerous approach to your health...

My GP is lovely, but it seems that after heart conditions/stroke/cancer is ruled out then basically it's get on with it.
This! You walk out thinking thank god I dont have (insert terrible disease), then realise you're going home with the same issues you came with!!!

So true @stayathomer !! I've been told to improve diet and see you in a few months. Sound advice but not enough. The ten minute appointments are not long enough and I always feel like I'm a burden as they are so pushed for time. My doctors are lovely and I trust them but they have no time. Certain blood tests I've had privately are too expensive for the NHS so the GP would be reluctant to order them.
