to not understand how positive LFT for 2 days is now suddenly negative?

Long Covid sufferer so very worried about catching anything else.
DD tested positive on a LFT Thursday morning and again yesterday morning - strong positives and mine strong negatives so have been distancing as much as possible / wearing masks etc.
This morning her LFT was completely clear and just now have checked again with another and again clear - surely it wouldn’t be out of her system in 2 days?
We test daily so she was 100% negative before Wednesday!

I had three strong positives (I wanted to test everyday as I am 38 week pregnant so wanted to keep an eye on it), then four clear negatives. The line just disappeared overnight! I was negative before as well.

She was sneezing on Thursday and had a headache yesterday but now you would think it had never happened!
At least after twice she’s had it she’s fine!
Just wish I fought it off as well as then I wouldn’t be so worried

@CovidConfused123

Yes thank you I understand that and wouldn’t leave any sooner
Sorry, I didn't mean you. There's another poster on this thread who said the same happened to their 7 year old and will end isolation if still negative - implying that they will leave isolation earlier than the rules state.

I had Delta & only tested positive for 24 hours. I wouldn't of noticed but I lost my sense of smell etc.

It's probably out of your daughters system already.

The previous comment about ending isolation might not be in England? Where I live, you only have to have 2 days of negative tests then you can leave isolation. Doesnt matter if its day 2 or 3 ect. (If you don't get 2 negatives, its day 10 regardless)

We had a couple of my daughters friends (all pretty much caught covid at a New Years party) two of them where negative on day 3 - they also had no symptoms at all! The retested day 5/6 and stayed negative. My daughter was still positive day 9!

Many schools are asking for lft results daily.
It's running rife at dds school atm.
