Affair evidence or facebook bizarreness?

Oh my FB messenger, I get adverts for children’s learning apps etc.

My husband’s messenger suddenly has a number of adverts for romantic hotels in the UK. we are going through a tricky patch (talk of divorce). Do I assume:

  1. random facebook algorithm?
  2. surprise romantic trip to fix marriage?
  3. affair/trip with another woman?

There’s a million reasons. If you want to find out - click the dots on the right hand side of the ad and then click “why am I seeing this ad”

This ^^

I've just done it on a few and it's quite interesting to see the reason you're seeing it (for someone who works in Marketing. Cannot confirm if it's interesting for anyone else).

@steff13 I do GrinAmy many more like it, I've been reporting them.
Werewolf porn ain't my bag

It's the werewolf adult fiction on mine. Something about an Alpha. The only link to anything like that is that my dd loves Zombies 2 and the werewolves on that. Uses my phone to YouTube the songs sometimes. Really hope it's not trying to target a child because of a disney film Confused

I get kitchen utensils that look like sex toys.

@PurpleFlower1983 who doesn't want to flip an omelette & then have a quick orgasm? Wink

PurpleFlower1983 · 19/01/2022 23:07

@NC6789012 Too right! Looking back at screenshots though I’ve just realised it’s general household sex toy like stuff too…

You don't have anything to worry about, OP. Or at least if you do, it's nothing to do with FB sending adverts for hotels.

My latest ad is for a supplement for people going through the after effects of chemo. I really REALLY hope that FB can't read my future. And no, I haven't been googling anything cancer-related for anyone else, and I'm the only person using this computer and my wifi.

Thank you so much everyone! Had I been patient, my own question would have been answered as this morning it’s showing gambling adverts
