So i’m in the north east and I’m on band B, I have been on there since the end of November. I’m bidding atm and I’m usually coming around 10th for properties. I’m just wondering how long other people waited?

Hi posted a while ago I’m coming number 1 on a property new build not moved from rank 1 since I bid on it on Thursday morning the cycle ends tomorrow at midnight I really hope I get it been on the Salford home search since January and been in the full statutory homeless band since April has anyone experienced anything similar and did you get offered the property? Thanks 🙏

I was on it about 4 months before getting my 2 bed home. My sister had a 2 bed and waited about a year for a 3 bed.

@MoreSleepPleasee awh that’s good and yea I need a 3 bed, can I ask what rank were you when bidding closed? 🙏

I registered in October 2019, but didn't hold out much hope as only eligible for a 2 bed property, but really wanted a three bed to avoid WW3 with my daughters. In the following Feb I spotted a local HA property on Right move. I immediately applied and was the only interested party. It might not be many peoples cup of tea as it's a tiny three bed in a small field of a garden. Public transport is dire and we are ten miles out from any town but walking distance to two pubs. It's also in the catchment area of an excellent secondary school. It has coal fired central heating. Like I said, it's not many peoples cup of tea, but it's our perfect and I thank my lucky stars that it happened for me.

My DD was ranked 1 when the bidding closed ( this was over 5 years ago) ...the top 3 bidders ( 1, 2 and 3) were all invited to view ( all within an hour of each other) ....then my DD had to submit all documents and bank stuff
..she had to wait 48 hours whilst an affordability assessment was complete...then it was offered....I'm guessing numbers 2 or 3 would have been offered if she had failed that

@happyjules awh that’s brilliant glad u got what u wanted sounds lovely and cosy to me 🙌

@kitcat15
awh that’s good then I really hope I get it 🙏 they were in the north west like me too weren’t they? There are 3 of them new builds on but I can only bid on 1 as the other 2 are for working and volunteering only bids my band tho band B so maybe that’s y I am ranking 1 because other people are bidding on the other 2 aswel sometimes when bidding closed tho I jump up the rankings as auto bids go on just hoping this is my time 🙏

Oh this happened to me few months ago! I found my housing association flat on rightmove! We love it here and it's perfect!

No-one believes me when I tell them I found it on rightmove!
