To cancel my personal fitness coach today?

I’m booked on a personal session with a gym instructor at my gym. I’ve been a member for around a year but I’ve never had a plan done due to Covid.

However! I did a weights and tone up class on Wednesday morning and I’m still in a lot of pain from that! Literally every part of me hurts, especially my core muscles.

Should I still go or would it be reasonable to cancel until I can actually move without wincing?

I'd definitely go and have a chat about whether you're overdoing it - pushing too hard too early and getting sore or injured is one of the most common reasons people often end up abandoning plans to get fit. Better to be a tortoise on a sustainable plan than a hurting hare!

Thanks everyone. I’ve just walked the dog for an hour and I actually feel a bit looser now so I’m going to go ☺️

Excellent! Really well done. Try and keep stretching when you’ve got a spare five minutes.
