AIBU sleep apnea waking baby

My 11 week old was sleeping through the night. My partner has sleep apnea so snores horrendously and we were sleeping in separate rooms due to this but have recently started sleeping in the same room. My baby has started waking two times in the night again which is obviously no problem as she is still so young but just wondered if this could be a factor?

Is baby in with you and partner?

dementedpixie · 12/01/2022 22:55

Does he have a cpap machine?
Dhs Cpap has stopped his snoring

ForTheLoversOutThere · 12/01/2022 22:58

What mask does your husband use?

Yes he does but he takes it in the night or waits for me to fall asleep so he doesn't have to put it on as he says he hates it.

Your DP needs to treat his sleep apnoea - its killing him if he doesn't get effective treatment and is disturbing you and the baby

11/12 weeks is quite a normal time for babies to change their sleep habits again.

dementedpixie · 13/01/2022 09:52

My dh had to try a couple of masks until he found one that suited. The one he has sits under his nostrils now rather than over his whole nose

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 13/01/2022 10:03

He doesn’t get the choice to “hate it” if he’s killing himself and disturbing you and the baby!

What is he, 7?

blahblahblah12345678910 · 13/01/2022 10:04

Is it possible that it would be disturbing the baby then or am I being stupid?

Yeah I agree with this tbh

Why is your biggest worry waking the baby?

By him not wearing it, he will die
