Cheap seaside place for a month

Hi posting for traffic here
My toddler, my partner and I all suffer from hay fever. My little one's and my allergies started last summer.
We work from home so thought maybe staying by the sea would help a little in the summer?
Any recommendations with affordable monthly rent?
Can be boring as long as there's beach nearby I'll be happy

I live in a seaside town, south east and for about 3 weeks every June I want to rip my own face off it’s so itchy due to hayfever.

Month at the seaside sounds glorious but if you’re going to escape allergies, the seaside is no better!

North/east Yorkshire coast somewhere a little cheaper than whitby/Scarborough. Maybe try Filey, Flamborough, Bridlington or try north of Sandsend.

Guernsey if you can find somewhere cheap. It's very windy and I found it much better for my allergies when I used to go.

1 month rentals are hard to find. You'll need an Airbnb type rental. Are you tied to school holidays? If you went for between Easter and May half term, you might find something. If you are after cheep, what about somewhere around Redcar?

I live in a seaside town in East Yorkshire and my hay fever was horrendous last year. I pretty much spent it feeling like I had a bad cold. So unless you plan to actually live in a boat in the middle of the sea away from all the grass, trees, fields etc moving coastal won't make a jot of difference

You'd be far better off in a city, surely?

Perhaps it would be worth identifying exactly what you are all separately allergic to, then taking steps to reduce your exposure to those allergens?

I live close to the coast and don't find any difference to hayfever. I aldi think a cheap rental my the sea will not be a thing as long as covid is around, the prices have shot up. The NE coast south will probably be one of the more economical options. I'd look at airbnb.

I was going to recommend the same areas , particularly Scarborough though I have no idea at all about been able to rent for a month or if it would alleviate asthma

Admittedly I used to live a 5 minute walk from a beach growing up, but my brothers still had hay fever. We were surrounded by fields. Wind direction fluctuates such a lot. I would splurge 50% of your planned "beach property rent" on an air filter (maybe start with a single room one).

Could try Scotland? We can have beautiful Easters and the midges on the west coast won't be out that early
