To roll my clementine before peeling it

DC are teasing me because I always roll my clean times before I peel them. Apparently my students have noticed it and all giggle about it too? When a couple of them asked DD about it, she has told them it pops the juice particles?!!?
My parents and grandparents did it. I just assumed that everyone did, but DH says he doesn't.

AIBU to think that rolling your clementines before peeling them, makes them easier to peel?

Dh does it but he also peels them so the peel looks like a pencil dick with big balls too 🤣🤣
