Is this problem drinking?

My husband likes red wine. Last night, after I went to bed, he must have finished the last bottle.

I've just been tidying in the kitchen after getting home from work, and I've found three mini Prosecco bottles behind the recycling boxes. These were presents given to me in Summer. I don't really drink, so they've just been in the cupboard.

Should I be worried that he drank them (when he doesn't normally like prosecco) and that he seems to have hidden the bottles?

He's at work until 8pm, so can't ask him yet.

YABU- It's fine and you're making a mountain out of a molehill

YANBU- It's a bit suspicious and concerning

Hiding the evidence is a potential red flag. I would keep an eye for now and see how things go. Is he drinking every night? Does he get panicked and/or find excuses to go to the shop if there’s no alcohol in the house? Does he get defensive if you suggest he might be drinking a lot?

So he normally just has a glass or two (every single night?), but last night he decided to have a whole bottle? Any idea why that might be? If I were a bit typsy and saw 3 mini bottles of something that had been sitting taking up space in the cupboard for months I would be very tempted to drink them to be honest. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@SmellyOldPartridgeinaPearTree

Surely if he was a seasoned secret alcoholic he'd have thought of a better hiding place for the bottles.
I agree, I don't think they were "hidden".
