AIBU to think I can put a Peloton upstairs?

As the title says, AIBU to think I can use a peloton upstairs in my house? I have normal floorboard type floor with carpet (not concrete floors) so worried about noise/damage. AIBU to think it would be okay??

Mine’s upstairs - on carpet, and then on the Peloton bike mat.
Not noisy at all, though DS did come and close the door today as I was singing very loudly in Bradley’s ride! Apparently I was being embarrassing! Grin

My auto-follow is absolutely fine. I think the issues sometimes occur if the ranges haven’t been programmed in correctly after the class, which can be frustrating. But no problem with the bike actually adjusting.

Okay and is it worth getting a peloton if I intend to use it only for cycling? I have zero interest in the extra classes

@junglejane66

Its noisy for the first few weeks, then gets quieter and after 3 months you wont hear it at all
Hahaha

We have Watt bike, love it. Not much noise but not silent. We went for this instead of peloton as I didn't want to commit to monthly subscription, so we mainly use the programmed climbs.

You’d never run out of classes to do!
Even if you don’t do any other classes, you’ll probably find yourself doing a stretch or light weights class afterwards as they pop up after your class.
I’ve been known to do a walk too. Especially if I’m away and want to keep up a streak on my calendar.
