To think I might dodge covid after exposure

Anyone got any positive ‘dodged the covid bullet’ stories?

Was with a friend for 30 mins today in her house. I sat at the opp end of her sofa and was never that close to her. She has just tested positive 😬 I have to visit an elderly relative in 3 days time so praying I never got close enough! She tested negative this morning as we both tested before I went round! Shows how quickly things can change.

Aibu to think I might dodge the bullet? I guess all I can do now is pray 🤞🏻

I have a friend who didn’t catch it from her DH who had it (confirmed case) early in the pandemic whilst they slept in the same bed. She’s since had Covid twice. So you don’t know when you will and won’t catch it.

I currently have covid and have not distanced in my own household (2 toddlers that are very clingy and often share a bed and I'm still bed sharing with DH) and (touch wood) no one else has got it so far and we're on day 7.
