I don't think I can make it myself ,my fifteen year old will be awake but I bet he will be the only one ,the fireworks normally wake me up .

Nah 4 and 1...

Every year ds and I stay up. Since he was about 6/7?

I fall asleep on the sofa and he wakes me for the fireworks!

This year he's 17. We haven't actually said we'll stay up this year.

We have buffet and watching The last leg of the year.

Guess we'll decide then?!

But he swam this morning for 2.5 hours so I'm guessing neither of us will make it Grin

@girlmom21

I've got a 2 year old and a 3 month old and DP and I have tested positive today. Im hoping we're all fast asleep before this shite year is out!
My kids both tested positive a few days before Xmas it is indeed a shite year My now fifteen year old was five days old on New year's Eve 2006,me and dh were still taking it turns to sleep at that point I remember him handing me ds1 at midnight to watch the fire works 🤣

Yep, we're watching films and playing games. 9 and 7 here.

We always have, usually they fall asleep on the sofa before then but as they’re got older they manage to stay awake.

Yep, mine have been staying up since they were 5. No harm done.

5 and 9 years, lasted fine, had a great time, went up at about 1:30am. Last year they also stayed up. Fell asleep in ten mins. No issues the next day. Its once a year, no big deal.

Mine always have since babies.

DD is 11 and this was her 2nd year staying up. We tried it last year for the first time when we weren't going anywhere the next day and she was fine so we let her do it again this year and we're having lunch with my family tomorrow so I hope she's not grumpy! She's not one to lie in but I'm hoping she might tomorrow 🤞
