…to ask for your best holiday locations with a toddler?

Posting in AIBU for traffic - sorry!

Desperate to book a holiday for this summer when DD turns 3. I have a fantasy about a week in New York but know this is probably a horrendous idea with a toddler - has anyone done it?

Where would you recommend for a holiday with a 3 year old?

Thanks in advance!

@Thepineapplemystery you sometimes need that me time/adult time. Children change the dynamics everywhere Grinmine is just a nightmare at the moment (hyperactive, free spirited, terrible twos you name it). I'm glad you got to that stage where you enjoyed 5 nights child free with you're friend. I have 2/3 years to go 🤞

Stay in the UK. Holidays with toddlers aren't holidays. To be honest I'd save the money until your dc is 3 or 4. We went to Croatia when ds was 4 and that was great.

Oh I've just seen your dc is 3. In that case it's a bit better as she may be toilet trained and able to eat proper things! I can't imagine a big city like New York would be fun though. Croatia might still work!

We did Dominican Republic when DS was 2, it wasn’t that bad at all really, even with long flight. I still want abroad when mine were babies as I love travel and wasn’t having years of U.K. holidays. I think a Villa with a pool or all inclusive hotel in Majorca etc probably best but really you can go anywhere, as long as you’ve got stuff to keep your child occupied it will be fine. Don’t stress and enjoy
