Gift, looks interesting - but is it a passive agressive hint at my frequently arriving late for stuff?
(And I've been early/on time recently - but probably after she purchased the book Xmas Shock)

No, it's not about timekeeping for appointments. Really interesting book though

Luredbyapomegranate · 25/12/2021 19:41

Maybe - or is it because the buyer thinks you like a good philosophical discussion about life?

Writerkelly · 25/12/2021 20:45

No I’ve seen that book I think it’s more about getting the most out of our lives rather than good timekeeping. I’m sure I could be doing something more purposeful than reading MN on my phone right now for example Grin

Taswama · 25/12/2021 20:48

That sounds like a really interesting book. I doubt there's a hidden message.

DukeofEarlGrey · 25/12/2021 20:48

Not at all - it's a really thought-provoking book and has nowt to do with timekeeping.

Dozer · 25/12/2021 20:51

Hmmm depends on your relationship and the context!

PiffleWiffleWoozle · 25/12/2021 20:57

No that’s not what the book is about. It’s carpe deum not time keeping tips. Great book though.

RoseGoldEagle · 25/12/2021 21:39

Thanks for the tip, the book sounds great! About making the most of life. I can’t believe anyone would buy that to make a dig, but sounds like she might have hit a nerve?!

NuffSaidSam · 25/12/2021 21:41

I think if there is a hidden meaning it's likely to be 'stop pissing your life away' rather than a hunt about punctuality.

It's probably just a nice gift though!
