Not being unreasonable is a double negative. It should be:
YABU (you are being unreasonable) or
YABR (you are being reasonable).

Long time member, sudden reallocation. AIBR?

@blinder

Sudden realisation* ALSO, why can’t we edit still?
Presumably because it would be inadvisable to give posters carte blanche to change their stories?
LittleRoundRobin · 25/12/2021 19:35

I still think there should be an EDIT function. Even for say, 3 minutes, to enable posters to correct typos, or bad grammar, or correct any mistakes in general, or delete any photo they accidentally upload.

I remember a poster not long back, posting what she thought was a picture of her fir tree outside - and she accidentally posted a photo of herself with her child.

She was mortified as she had inadvertently identified herself. I think it was half an hour before it was deleted, even though she messaged mumsnet/reported her own thread within 5 minutes of posting her thread.

If there had been an opportunity to edit, she could have deleted it immediately.

I always spot an error or typo after I post. I long for an edit button to correct them. A timed one would be ok, surely? Annoys me that I can’t edit.

I agree with PP, it is not a double negative.
