Breakfast about 8/9 as kids up around 6/7. Lunch around 2/3.

MorningStarling · 24/12/2021 18:09

Breakfast whenever we get up, probably 9ish. Just toast/orange juice though, I can't stomach any more at that time of day.

I aim for lunch at 1pm, sometimes it creeps towards 2pm instead. Just depends how it goes.

Hopefully washed up by 3:30, a short walk before it gets dark, a rest and then leftovers/party bits about 7:30. I tend to avoid drinking in the daytime, even at Christmas, so I'll start the evening drinks at sixish.

MajorCarolDanvers · 24/12/2021 18:12

Full Scottish breakfast at about 10am and then Christmas dinner at about 3pm

mogsrus · 24/12/2021 18:23

Around this year 12.30. & that’s it for the day but we go out anyway

NeverForgetYourDreams · 24/12/2021 18:24

Just had Xmas dinner and I'm now stuffed til morning

Thehogfatherstolemycurry · 24/12/2021 18:27

Breakfast is pastries and croissants between 8-9am.
Christmas Dinner around 3pm then a small buffet put out around 8pm for people to pick at.

peboh · 24/12/2021 18:28

DD will have cereal around normal time of 6 (early riser every day)
DH and I will have breakfast around 10
DD normal dinner at 12 then tea around half 4/5.
She's asd so quite rigid in routines. She also won't eat a christmas dinner with us, so we won't have ours until she's gone to bed so probably eat around 7. We'll just graze throughout the day.

Moonface123 · 24/12/2021 18:35

No idea, last xmas my sister came over and we were so busy chatting l completely forgot to put the dinner on.

notangelinajolie · 24/12/2021 18:40

We have tea and toast while we open presents at around 11am
FIL and DB turn up pissed from the pub at 3pm
Christmas Dinner is usually ready for about 4pm
FIL and DB go home around 8pm
Then its time for the best part of the day, grab a glass of wine and watch telly Smile

nokidshere · 24/12/2021 18:41

Bacon rolls & coffee when we wake mid morning. Then a grazing table for the rest of the day interspersed with chocolate.

Hrpuffnstuff1 · 24/12/2021 18:54

Breakfast when the 3 kids get up.
Probably between 10-11 am.
I'll be up at 6am, an hour or so on the treadmill.
Then toast with jam.
Put turkey in, 4 hrs.
Then dinner at 4 ish, after I've picked family up.
Dinner will be Russian Lithuanian British mix...

BurntO · 24/12/2021 18:56

I like to be super hungry for Xmas dinner so I don’t eat breakfast

AnnaSW1 · 24/12/2021 19:45

We have chocolate and croissants for brekkie, then cooked breakfast for lunch and Xmas dinner around 5.

JurassicShay · 24/12/2021 19:54

Breakfast is chocolate & then dinner at 1/2 with party food for the evening but Dd is only 18months so whoever wants them pancakes will be on offer in the morning.

DressingPafe · 24/12/2021 20:04

We have the traditional dinner on Christmas Eve, which we had at 4. Now everything is cleaned up, put away etc and I can just relax tomorrow, perfect Smile

We’ll have a decent sized brunch tomorrow around 11. So we won’t bother with lunch, although there are plenty of snacky things in the kitchen. Then I’ll fry up leftovers from today for dinner. I think I enjoy the fried leftovers more than the actual Christmas dinner!

Lovemusic33 · 24/12/2021 20:12

Breakfast 8am (pastries)

Christmas dinner 1pm ish (dd won’t wait any later, she has ASD and has set routines 🤣).

We often eat pudding later (3-4pm) and cheese and biscuits in the evening if anyone’s hungry.

ChocolateCakeYum · 24/12/2021 20:25

Cooked breakfast or croissants etc at 8.

Dinner at 5 / 5:30

ChocolateCakeYum · 24/12/2021 20:25

Should add we do a normal everyday lunch around 12

Hrpuffnstuff1 · 24/12/2021 20:26

Who the chuff can eat another meal in the evening after Xmas Dinner.😂😂😳

HalloHello · 24/12/2021 20:34

Breakfast around 8am, bacon sandwiches, chocolate croissant, coffee, hot chocolates

Probably crack open a prosecco for Bucks Fizz around 11am.

Christmas dinner at my parents, they ALWAYS say 3pm and it's ALWAYS 4pm. Will have crisps and dip, nuts, olives out from 2pm with more booze.

Usually a 3 course meal so don't usually eat another meal but the chocolates and snacks come out again about 8, maybe some cheese and biscuits if we aren't feeling too full!

JoeyJoeyson · 24/12/2021 20:46

Breakfast around 9.30/10am. Usually smoked salmon and scrambled eggs with bagels or croissants with jams. People will snack on whatever is available between then and dinner (selection boxes, fruit, crisps etc) Christmas dinner (main meal) around 4pm. Dessert and cheese board around 7pm.

Thinking of bringing dinner forward an hour this year though. I’m completely knackered and just want everyone fed and gone so I can have a long bath and go to bed 🤣

JaceLancs · 24/12/2021 20:49

Coffee for breakfast - lunch at 2 - starter and main - we usually ate too full for dessert and then end up eating it around 7 or 8

Bushkin · 24/12/2021 20:52

Coffee & panettone @ 7:30ish then bacon rolls @ 10:30. Christmas dinner around 3pm

StoopitAutocarrot · 24/12/2021 20:53

Parkrun first! Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon afterwards, about 11

Dinner around 3

Cheese and crackers about 7

DogsandCatsB4u · 24/12/2021 21:23
