Okay maybe not nearly everything but ALOT. Anyone else noticed this?

"It’s almost like there’s a big celebration coming up which involves people across the country giving each other gifts, and especially toys to children…

Toy shortages are always common in the run up to Christmas, it’s not anything new!"

I feel like op probably knows what it's normally like at this time of year. This year is different due to the massive supply chain issues already mentioned.

I blame Brexit / Boris / Katie Price / the patriarchy / rule breaking Tories / Jeremy Corbyn.

They have put prices up on some items since last week too. Not special offers, just the list price. I've noticed that with a few other retailers too. I don't think I've seen prices increase the week before Christmas anywhere other than Amazon before.

I have some early January birthdays to buy for and it can be a nightmare trying to find things in stock once the sales start, although sometimes it can be a blessing if you nab a bargain. I thought I would get ahead with a possible lockdown looming but things I was looking at last week are more expensive now.

Thanks @SilverGlassHare. I’ll have a look! I’m going to try a gift shop in Windsor also that I know stocks Jellycat but they won’t have as wide a range as online obviously.
I like to buy from JL as it’s available to collect the next day usually.
