Having a bit of a sh!t day, week, month (year?) and feeling a bit sad that I have a celeb crush being almost 40 living an alternative life in my head (I do have hausband and kids and things are mostly OK, but been feeling a bit low about myself for some time, long story), hopefully I am not the only one, so cheering up is most welcome!

I think that's entirely understandable - he's kind to animals, nice-looking, and good with his hands! Matt Smith (another Yorkshire Vet, not the Doctor Who one) is also rather easy on the eye.

Oh I’ve had so many over the years! The strongest crushes would have to be Aragorn (as a PP said, all grubby etc), Noel Fielding, Rami Malek and Johnny Depp.

But my ride or die, eternal crush will always be Benedict Cumberbatch. He just seems absolutely lovely.

Funnily enough, knowing how many men out there have wifes/partners half their age (and as long as it's a happy relationship- who the f cares about the age gap) why would women thinking of fancying a younger guy be such a problem anyways. Realistically, such relationships are much rarer than between older men and younger women, but I find it a bit sad that you need to be so judgemental about it?

I've been in an imaginary relationship with Colin farrell for many many years. We've had some ups ( miss Julie, in Bruges, charity work) and downs ( sex tape scandal, Alexander) but I remain loyal. That whaling thing on the BBC recently was a difficult watch, as he was fat and rank but I'm standing by him.
