Lots of angry press coverage about how we have all been taken for fools following all the revelations of various government parties last Christmas plus the general theme of dishonesty. Fair enough. It is indefensible.

BUT I havent seen a credible explanation for why this is all coming out now though. So many participants, all sitting on this damning evidence for a whole year? But some thought to take/keep footage and pictures but sit on them? Were the media complicit?

Aren't we even bigger fools then, not to realise that someone has controlled when this tsunami of negative press hit the public domain? You might think it doesnt matter if it helps bring an end to this sorry government but it makes me wonder what else is suppressed for more convenient timing, what we are being distracted from and who is pulling the strings.

FWIW, I don't think the puppetmasters are fully invested yet. This looks like an attempt at a power grab by a faction or two? Cummings/Gove/Truss/Sunak but when the powers behind the throne make a decision that Boris should go and who will replace him, Boris will be gone straight away. If you want to see an efficient defenestration., think about the desire to avoid health restrictions being reimposed by Hancock. He is gone for a non-COVID reason so he cannot resign on principle that has been held in reserve for that thime. Clean and quick. Boris was to be around IMO until COVID was over so his successor could have a clean run at the election without lockdown baggage. It will only be if the accumulation of mis-deeds become unsupportable that he will be exited early.

The fun will be watching people hang on for dear life or cut deals to avoid being personally out of power when criminal investigations are in train.
