to ask why you don’t collect stuff from Freecycle

I’m having a big clearout as I’ve had some new furniture etc and put lots on freecycle.

The number of people who beg for something and don’t bloody collect! Why? No ones forcing you!

Just message and say ‘changed my mind’ so I know what’s going on.

Rant over.

I'm a good Freecycler, always polite message, arrange a clear time and collect and I only go for items I'm going to use for myself & home. We do exist!

People never value things that are given to them free.
It's a universal truth.

Out of necessity, I furnished the cottage I'm living in off of Freecycle and FB marketplace. I'm really thankful for it and make sure to let people know when I'm on my way plus I send them a follow-up message if they leave the item to be picked up outside their house. My place looks great now and I've also learned to enjoy upcycling furniture.

I’d rather that than have an extra £200.

I think people assume you’ll deliver so are ghosting your when you discuss collection. So bloody cheeky.

We have two gorgeous armchairs and a coffee table from freecycle and we value them a lot. We’re very pleased with them and the lady who needed them to go the same day was pleased to get rid of them.
