Would you go to a kids party next week?

It’s my Ds 5th birthday party next week. I’ve hired out the whole soft play area and only having close family and friends there. Approx 45 people. Would you still go? I’m not sure what to do as the balance is due this week. . .

Yes. Am taking my son to a party on Sunday and we have the school fete on Saturday (outdoors).

DD2 has a party on Saturday and DD1 has a party on Sunday. Hadn’t occurred to me to not let them go!

Yes definitely- two of my boys have birthdays next week and no-one has cancelled their kids coming to the parties yet!

Yes I would. If kids are gonna get it they will get it. We currently have high cases in our school for year 5 and 6 and I don’t think a party would make any difference to them catching it or not. They are all in the same class. Those who don’t feel comfortable won’t come.

If I wasn’t heavily pregnant then yes I would. Kids are all mixing at school anyway. Pregnant or not though I wouldn’t be going to anything like that from 18th as would be worried it’s too close to Xmas.

I have 5 year old twins and their birthday party was last Saturday at a busy activity area, everyone invited came to the event

Yes. I would. I would not though when my DM was still alive as I was concerned to protect her and continue to be able to see her. Nor would I if I had an important event coming up, or a holiday. So there will be some people who won’t come for good reason. But sufficient I would think to make it worthwhile. Hope you enjoy.

We postponed ds party for tomorrow till January. Only 9 invited inc ds and two off with covid lots waiting on pcr. Easier to change arrangements earlier in the week than wait for more positives to come in tomorrow.
We would have gone ahead if it wasn’t for the positive cases involved though.
