Hi, I’m stranded at an airport and need the QR code but I just have the card. The app takes up to 24 hours. What can I do? Can someone help me please?

@Roominmyhouse it is because the rules keep changing. Probably due to the new strain. Two of the check-in people were arguing about whether you needed a Passenger Locator Form and Day 2 Covid Test booked before flying SIN-LHR. You do.

Fair enough but I’d have checked daily for changes and prior to leaving for the airport given things are changing regularly at the moment.

You've always needed to book a day two test, it's just the type has changed.

Last time we went abroad I was checking for changes almost hourly wort multiple sources. Not helpful for you I know OP but things do change rapidly and if you are travelling people do need to keep checking I hope you get sorted soon and can get to where you need to be

@tintodeverano2 is right. The form and day 2 test were needed anyway. It's only the requirement for a pcr rather than lft that is a recent change.

It’s not just about knowing the procedures. A young couple who were meant to be on our flight were turned away. They had paper documentation for their vaccinations which they had in Australia, but because they were backpackers they didn't have Medicare. No Medicare, no QR code, no travel.
