Real or fake?

Tree..what do you go for? Dp always wants fake and I love real and grew up loving the whole thing of going to choose one, the look of it etc.
We just got a new artificial one last year so Dp is complaining that I’d like to get a real one, especially now Dd is 3 and it would be a nice experience choosing one.

Aibu to just really prefer a real tree?

fake indoors (and my tree is now 10 years old and going strong) and a real pot grown one outdoors. Pot grown lasts from year to year if cared for.....be careful to get pot GROWN not POTTED. potted are just lifted from the field, have their roots chopped to fit and shoved in pot, poor chance of survival. Pot grown cost more but are grown in the pot they are sold in and will survive for many yeras if kept outdoors and cared for.

I personally prefer real

@HolidayTime2021 there isn't a class thing regarding trees anymore. Since it became an eco thing and high quality trees costing many hundreds of pounds became available, it is now as likely for a right on woke middle class eco-conscious person to have fake faux as it is for working class to have some spangly argos tree
